Your Pennsylvania eWIC card

Pennsylvania WIC benefits are loaded onto an eWIC card that works like a debit card at WIC-authorized stores. The official food list names the WICShopper app for checking what is left on your balance.

Check your balance

  • Your last receipt shows the ending balance of foods.
  • "My Benefits" in the WICShopper app shows what is left, but the state warns it takes 48 hours to update.

Lost, stolen or not working

The state food list says: if your card is lost or stolen or does not work at the store, contact your local WIC clinic. Use the county list to find the number. You can also call 1-800-WIC-WINS.

PIN safety

Memorize your PIN and do not give it to anyone except your trained WIC proxy. Do not throw the card away when benefits run out; it is reused every month.
